TEACHING AND CURATORIAL WORK

ABOUT THE PAINTINGS

I paint visual experience as a negotiation between internal and external worlds. I push my materials vigorously past illusion in search of an embodiment of these curiously unresolvable dialogues of consciousness. I work as honestly and directly as possible to to bring the wholeness of my perceptions, the physicality of the material and making into the experience of looking at the work.
